Saretto is an impressive new addition and absolutely worth a visit. From the moment you walk in, the space feels intentional -- warm lighting, rich wood, and an elegant bar that gives the whole place a refined, old-world Italian vibe without feeling stuffy. It's classy, welcoming, and clearly designed for people who appreciate atmosphere as much as food.
The menu is thoughtfully put together and well executed. The pasta dishes are done right, with clean flavors and quality ingredients, and the cocktail list is excellent -- classic, balanced, and made with care. Everything feels deliberate, from the drinks to the pacing of the meal.
What really stands out is how polished the experience already feels for a newer restaurant. Service was attentive and professional, and the overall vibe makes this a place you'd come back to -- whether for a nice dinner, a date night, or drinks at the bar.
Saretto sets a high bar for the area. It's classy, it's fresh, and it's absolutely a must-visit.

Very new Italian restaurant which took over the Boyd's place. Very friendly staff with a knowledgeable chef. The chef Paul Stearman is also involved at the Bistro 112 restaurant in Shepherdstown.
Cozy romantic atmosphere with a bar that has history dating back to Al Capone being an owner.
Being very new the bar is not fully stocked and the wine list is very limited. While speaking to the chef he mentioned that the wine list will be expanded very soon. The menu will expand as well so there's an expectation of fresh pasta being on the menu at some point as well. So far everything is very good and it sounds like great things are planned down the road.
When at the bar, Marie will take very good care of you. She's great to talk to as well. We'll definitely be back in a few weeks to check on the planned updates.

This place had amazing food and the staff was very friendly! The atmosphere was pleasant and the decor was a Chicago 1920's theme which was very refreshing and fun. They actually a very renowned chef from Washington DC that has served US President's. Visit Saretto, you won't be disappointed!!
